Manu Dyens – Let Me Be Me
Groovy, bouncy, smooth pop songs featuring female or male vocals: he can do it all. For SuperPitch’s Artist Series, Manu Dyens delivers a collection of impeccable and bright pop songs with a funky, slightly retro 80s French Touch. Manu Dyens’ flirtatious musical style conveys a charming, confident, melodic and lighthearted soul. Perfect for a great carefree touch to urban settings, TV reality, teenage scenes and sunny pop commercials. Brilliant drummer Manu Dyens was most likely born with the acute sense of rhythm that characterizes him, but his entire life has been spent perfecting it with relentless drive: alongside teacher and percussionist Eduardo Tomasi, first, and within the ATLA school in Paris, where he met his mentor, Vincent Legris. His name is now synonymous with eclectic genius in the French rap scene, and beyond, thanks to Disiz, Oxmo Puccino, Orelsan, Sly Johnson, Marvin Jouno, Clara Luciani, Nekfeu, FM Laeti, Tessa B, MHD, in studio or on tour. In 2017, the highly creative and prolific artist released his first solo album, a mix of pop, rap and electro, followed by two EPs and another album in 2021.
