Branko Galoić – Angel Song
Croatian composer Branko Galoić’s music reflects his vision of the world. His inspirations draw, much like himself, from a variety of worlds. His roots are in Balkan & Brass music. These Angel Songs belong to the artist’s earlier works. They're Balkan at heart, mostly warm and bright, sometimes evolving between cheerful and plaintive. Male and/or female vocals infuse them with a sense of carefree, warm dynamic. Upbeat percs and drums, lively acoustic or electric guitars, fun brass band arrangements: Branko’s folk and rock songs convey a unique, happy, buoyant and festive quality that will do wonders for Balkan Gypsy and Eastern Europe oriented scenes, of course, but also work their magic on road trips, food and travel sequences, and romance.
